How do I get my ten month old to stop sucking on his bottem lip?

My son wanted to suck on a pacifier but could not keep it in his mouth. So he learned to suck on his bottem lip. He didn't do it much, just once or twice a day when he got upset. Then about a month ago when he was 9 months old he started sucking on it all the time. If he isn't eating or jabbering he is sucking on it, even in his sleep. I broke up with my girlfriend but not sure how to move on?

It was a very toxic relationship, we argued at least 5 out of the 7 days of the week. We had been together for 1 year, 8 months and 2 days the day i decided it was over for good. I had been wanting to break up with her for a while because i got really tired of her ways, part of the things she did were not all her fault, but i still did not want to be involved in it. When we argued, 1st of all it was ALWAYS over something of minor importance, she always question my loyalty to her, she got jealous of other girls talking to me, and me talking to them. When we argued, again, everyday, i would not want to talk about it when it happened because i would b really pissed about the way she was talking to me, and how she would act like i am so disrespectful and i simply was tired of arguing with her all the time and plus, the argument would never get anywhere if were screaming and yelling but she would take my keys if we were at her house, or if we were in the car she would refuse to get out until we "talked" about when screaming and cursing is obviously not talking. She slams my car door, has shut my car off while i have been driving, and attempted to get out the car while i have been driving. She has told me to leave her on the side of the road in a wooded area, i obviously have not because i love and care about her. She has trust issues and told me but after almost 2 years, those need to have been gone. Monday was the last straw for me, i am done with her; but her and her mother have both been constantly calling, texting, leaving me messages, and emailing me. They're using different psychological techniques to either get me back or to get me to talk, i have not replied to any of these, but she came to my french cl and again pleaded begged, and said she would do this that and the other that she has promised before but has not happened, i told her no that i could not do it right now, and i know if i say yea it will be fine for a day or two but then will return back to the same. Also, i just have lost a lot of my attractiveness to her, i have resentful feelings toward her and i just dream of a life without the drama with her. I am not trying to make this sound like all her fault, i have done things, i have hit her, called her every name in the book, and dreamed about cheating on her and everything else terrible, but always have been loyal, and trustworthy, i am deeply saddened by this lost because i do love her, and just wish she would have believed in me. Why am I so self destructive?

So, im happy, always have been, but theres always something in there bothering me a little bit. I am a paradox, thats the best way to describe me, i meditate, am a vegetarian, try to be as healthy as I am, but i smoke and party like a maniac. The real question is, why do i need to be so self destructive? A couple of years ago, i was anorexic and bulimic, i aslo did some cutting. It took a lot of years of talking my self out of it, and eventually i did it, i mean its not something that will ever go away, its just something i have finally managed to have under control. Ive always, however had a intense strange crazy desire for every drug i can get my hands on. I dont do drugs, well unless you count weed as one, and i really didnt get the chance to try them but now, in this past year, the chances increase every day, and Im not saying no to anyhitng, I mean, i knew that it would eventually come, this curiosity towards everything was growing inside of me every day stronger. i dont want anyone to tell me how bad drugs are cuz im not gunna get stuck to them, my life is too precious to waste it, i just want to try and expirience everything i can, in the good and in the bad, but a side from drugs, there are many things i have done and still do to destroy myself in a way, so i would really appreciate it if anyone told me why im so self destructive?

It is 100% legal for the landlord to fix things themselves, or send family. There is no law anywhere dictating to the property owner who they do or do not hire. The government has a lot of control, but it is not that bad yet. My son is 3 months old. He hardly sleeps for more than 1-2 hrs at a time. Every once in a blue moon he will sleep 3-4hrs. He eats formula with rice cereal because the doctor suggested it because of his reflux problems. He eats 2.5-6 oz in a feeding sometimes more but he tends to fall asleep when I feed him and then wakes up very soon after to eat again. He also refuses to sleep laying down in his crib. He sleeps in his swing or next to me and I have to prop him up because he wont sleep flat. He is and always has been a lil congested so maybe thats why he cant sleep flat but Im getting exhausted and I dunno what to do. Should I tell my friend im pregnant?

Trying everything for acne!?

So I am trying everything possible for acne treatment, I am so tired of having it. I was using Proactive but it never fully cleared my skin then I tried other products including benzoyl peroxide with still no great results. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me some apo-tetra 250MG pills and some gel which seams to be helping a little but still haven't fully cleared up. I have acne mostly concentrated on the back of the jawline of both sides of my face. Ive had to start wearing makeup to cover it up :(. If anyone has any ideas please tell me as I can't get in to see a dermatologist here for at least a year! Im trying different things to see if I can pinpoint the cause and I mean I'm trying a lot of things. Currently I'm trying to stop masturbation, going to try more sunlight exposure, different foods. Is this good enough for a transfer of ownership. So OK, one can repent for their worst sins anytime before they die and still go to heaven after a life time of child molesting and raping and murdering and every heinous crime/sin imaginable. If they don't do it in life they can still do it from hell and be lifted out of hell and still go to heaven, making no punishment permanent. How scary to sin! Oh my! I can do it all I want and then just say I am sorry at the end and go to heaven anyway, how motivating to not sin. It makes the ten commandments totally useless in every way. Herbal life Diet?

I have been on the herbal life diet for a while now and have only lost two kilograms. However i get hungry in between the two shakes and end up eating. 4 my 13th birthday i wanted a phone but i have NO friends to text or call so there is really no point but i want a phone to call my mom if something goes wrong and i can call my cousin to see if she can come-over and if i do get a phone what kind? it has to be from sprint and has to have touch-screen, camera and i would like a QWERTY Keyboard and PDA/smart phone but i only have 3DAYS to pick or to get something else

Try working with the lactation consultant some more to get the latch down properly. My daughter is just about 6 weeks old and I have never had any pain while feeding her. While it can be common at first, it shouldn't still be painful.

okay, My mother in law has three sons.. the oldest son and his wife have two boys ages 5 and 7, the middle son and his wife has 2 girls ages 2 and 1 an they are expecting another baby, im married to the youngest son and we only have one daughter.. She will be 2 next month.. my mother in law shows favortism with the other two granddaughters over my daughter.. example: she had been telling me for MONTHS that she was having ALL three girls matching dresses made.. the other 2 girls got theirs but my baby was left out.. when i confronted her she said those were different dresses than the ones she is having made.. well now the other 2 girls have gotten another set of matching dresses and once again my daughter was left out.. when confronted this time she lied.. another example is with the other two girls, she paid and helped do EVERYTHING for their birthday parties.. She left before my daughters party was over.. she NEVER comes to my house to see my daughter and stays with the other 2 girls.. we all live next door to each other as well.. Also, she didnt even CALL on my daughters FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!!! she just sent me a text!!! its rude and my husband wont stand up to her.. what can i do?? To add to the other answer: It's not a question of activity that makes it a threat. Mt. Saint Helen's had been dormant for 400 years before 1980's eruption. It was not considered a huge threat but when it blew it surely was a natural disaster. Obviously volcanoes that show a lot of little activity are watched more closely but sometimes the quiet ones are ignored and big, bad things happen.

am a 15 year old girl, And I have a lump on the side of my neck. I have one on my right side of my neck thats about 1 centimeter in length and its movable and its kinda hard. I also have one on my left side and its very tiny, about pea size, and its also movable and sorta hard. Should I be worried about these? I have been to the doctor many times and they have felt the lumps there many times, and never said it was anything. My brother also has these same type of lumps on his neck, so is it hereditary? He got his checked and it was just fatty tissue, or lymph nodes...i dont remember. But anyways, I just dont think its anything since my dr's know they are there, and I have no other symptoms that it can be anything serious! The lumps have been there for at least 6 years, or longer! I can remember them there for a LONG time! My parents know about these and have mentioned them to the doctor and they said it was nothing... They do not hurt at all and have not grown in size since they have been there!

You want to wash your hands as much as possible. We breath in many different bacteria and viruses. The reason you wash your hands to rid of germs are they are typically the ones to harms us. The Cold's, Flu's, E-Coli, bacterium that can really bring you down. I am not saying that all the germs you breath in won't make you sick because some will. But with our human nature we are always rubbing our eye, scratching our nose and wiping our mouths with our hands which is why it is important to wash your hands multiple times a day with soap and water for at least 30 seconds, and in between using hand sanitizer in between. A germ that may not be harmful to me may put you down and out for a week!

Well I guess I should start back from four months ago. Well four months ago I decided I was going to move to London in hopes to really launch off my career. i choose London because i was born there while my parents were on vacation i was born two months early, I'm healthy now though, and i wouldn't have to worry about a visa or anything. fast forward to three days before i leave for London and me and my best friend since i was four, Brittney, decide to go out to celebrate one of my last days living in Miami beach. we go out to a really nice club and i meet this guy Asher, one thing leads to another and you know what happens. i normally don't do this i guess i was just wanting to live a little before i left. i remember us using protection, because i put it on him. but anyways i had ended my birth control 2 months before this because it made me gain weight and i was going to London to model where to girls eat a cracker a day, plus i don't sleep around so i figured why would i need it anyways. i was supposed to get my period 5 days later but i never did i just figured it was from being stressed from being in a new country. i start hating smells but i figure its again from being in a new place and smelling new things, then i start gaining weight, so i put myself on a diet of yogurt or diet shakes for breakfast a fruit or vegetable for a snack broth salad with no dressing or stu for lunch and dinner, which makes me loose about 12 pounds (with alot of exercise) which then i weigh even less that i did before i left, i also sleep alot but i fatigue its from not eating alot, then i don't get my period again, which i also attribute to being 5'7" and 110 pounds i also throw up a bit but i figure its from intense workouts. but i talk to Brittney and i'm telling her how everything smells bad and i gained weight because the food in London is 'fattening' and how i throw up sometimes when i work out and how I'm always tired and i didn't get my period and she says 'it sounds like your pregnant' and then i had to take a pregnancy test, just to prove to her i wasn't. it came out positive so i take 6 more, all positive. so i make a doctor appointment and they schedule an ultrasound and tell me I'm a little over 2 months along, i get a plane ticket for the next day back to Miami. which is where i am now, i just got back today i haven't told my mom yet because she is battling cancer (stage 3) and i don't want to stress her out even though she always supports me and i normally tell her everything, i just don't want this to effect her health my dad died when i was 17 and i have no aunts uncles or grandparents, i have a niece (Sadie shes 6) that the only other relative i have but she lives with her fathers brother because my dads sister and her husband both died. now to Asher my baby's father, i haven't told him i need your help, would it be better to meet in a public place or show up at his house? from what little i do know about him i know that he is 21 lives on his own in a nice house on the beach that his parents bought him. and he has a very very close family he even names his pets after his family (but changes the name a bit) he has 2 dogs and that's about it, but the family thing is good right? just please help me out! i need your advice! i know I'm keeping the baby, but how do i tell everyone?

Computer Information Systems is a good choice, but knowing what makes a computer tick (Computer Science) can be just as interesting, if not lucrative in pay. As always, it should be your choice, what you are good at, and what will earn you a living. Photography is a leap from either computer field, so if it were me, I would major in CIS and minor in Computer Science, but that is me. Photography can just be a hobby, and you could take a course or two as electives. Good luck.
