CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS SCIENCE QUESTION?

The cell theory says cells are the basic unit of life. Mitosis is cellular division. In order for life to maintain itself it must replenish cells that die. If mitosis does not occur, new cells will not be replacing old cells that are dying or dead. Old cells will die and the organism will eventually die.
