Is it possible for conservatives to make a case for cutting government spending without using violent rhetoric?

It's possible, but don't hold your breath. Politics in America seems so hypocritical because even though we claim to be a beacon of democracy, a lot of us refuse to acknowledge the other side and resort to violence and violent rhetoric when we don't get we want. A good example of this is how Americans used to react to minorities trying to gain their rights, as well as reactions to the Vietnam War.
