I'm thinking of trying atkins, any advice?
I'm Female (boyfriends account!) about 5 foot 2 inches and weigh about 135lbs. I'm hoping to lose about 20 lbs and get back to the weight I was before all my exams. I want to try atkins and was just wondering would ye have any advice? Like how much weight should I expect to lose in the first two weeks, and how long should I stay on it to lose 20 lbs? could anyone tell me what foods to stay away from(I know bread pasta rice sugar etc) I mean things you wouldn't think have carbs and of course what are the best things to eat? I'm vegetarian so thinking of using quorn instead of real meat, would this work as well? I eat fish. Most importantly what alcohol can I drink? Please say vodka! Also I'm sure plenty of you will tell me it's unhealthy etc but I just want to kick start a healthy food and exercise path. I've read plenty about it on the internet, just looking for advice.
