Proposition 8, otherwise known as the ban on gay marriage being legal; for all those who would vote...?

I always hear that since gay and straight people get the same legal rights (at least from the state of California), it's OK to separate people into groups. By that logic, maybe we should have segregated water fountains against since black and white people get the same water. When will this country learn that separate is inherently unjust and certainly not equal.
