OLTL fans, a Bess/Tess/Jess question?

That's funny- I was thinking about that earlier today. Every time she turns into Bess there's always a pair of gles (and a hair band) handy. Were those Viki's that she took this time? And how is she always able to see through them no matter the prescription? How convenient and how silly!!!
