How to go through the steps to get the visa to work in the US?

I am a Canadian Citizen with a Bachelor's degree as Industrial Designer from Colombia, South America. I work in Canada as Visual Merchandiser for an American Company. I want to know what I have to do to work in The US. I will apreciate to anyone given me advices. Thank you.
